Kennedy Associates (JKA) was started by Jacky Kennedy in 1987 to develop productive
stress management skills in organisations. The JKA portfolio of services included
stress management skills, personal and organisational development, team building,
individual management training, assertion skills and organisational communication
and culture development, race, culture and gender issues were integral to he
methods of working. |
| As the company grew
and a skilled and committed team developed around her, she expanded the range
of JKA services to include management training, development and assessment centres,
customer care training, and quality assurance work. By the early nineties the
team were serving the social housing sector, public sector, voluntary organisations,
and health insurance companies, providing a wide range of bespoke training and
development services. | | By 2000, the business
had relocated to London and Jacky Kennedy Associates Limited was formed. The company
had an increased portfolio which included, board and committee development, governance
training, organisational development organisational auditing, business process
improvement, business planning, facilitated strategic planning and development
and grant bid writing. | | | | The
client base has expanded to include regeneration organisations and a wide range
of small/medium enterprises and international partnerships. The company has developed
a range of services to co-operatives and community based organisations. It has
also undertaken a number of innovative projects, including CAF funded work in
Russia on the development of new models of housing, and governance training, British
Council funded work on forced migration and housing in Russia and HC funded training
in governance (IGP) and pre board membership training for tenants (CTE). | | JKA
have also worked in fruitful partnership with a range of community and minority
organisations, for example developing bespoke training for employment, health
mentors, fundraising. | | |
