started in housing in 1971 after qualifying as an accountant and working for 7
years with a leading firm of auditors in the City. Over the next 20 years he was
a full time Finance Director for 3 prominent RSLs. In the last 12 years he has
worked for the premier consultancy to the RSL sector carrying out over 200 assignments
and managing a team of finance professionals. He currently sits on the Management
Boards of a number of RSLs. From the 1970s he has carried out regular finance
training for a number of organisations, principally the National Housing Federation.
He has also written technical publications. | | | | | | Desmond
is a full member of the Association of Certified Accountants & an affiliate member
of the Institute of Internal Auditors. | | | | | |
